News from our newspaper (reporter Chu Peng) On October 19, Gu Ailing, who had announced her naturalization as a Chinese citizen in 2019 and will represent China in the 2022 Winter Olympics, is currently training at the Saasfei Glacier Ski Resort in Switzerland. Her mother revealed to a reporter from Beijing Youth Daily that Gu Ailing had just received the SAT score of the American college entrance examination. With a full score of 1600 on the SAT, Gu Ailing scored 1580, one step closer to her favorite Stanford University.
Right now, Gu Ailing, accompanied by her mother, is doing freestyle ski slope obstacles and U-shaped trough training in the Swiss ski resort. During the training, Gu Ailing received her own American college entrance examination results. According to Gu Ailing’s mother, the SAT score is 1600. Ailing scored 790 in both mathematics and English, which is higher than 99.8% of all candidates in the world. It is American college score (1580-1600).
It is worth mentioning that Gu Ailing, who just turned 17 in September this year, graduated from high school in San Francisco in advance. In order to have more time to prepare for the Beijing 2022 Winter Olympics, Gu Ailing completed the remaining two academic years of high school in advance. On June 8 this year, Gu Ailing posted graduation photos through social networks to celebrate her graduation from high school. She wrote: "So far, I have been a full-time student. This year I became the first student to graduate early. I look forward to preparing for the Beijing Winter Olympics in the next 18 months!"
After finishing high school, Gu Ailing was still in training, preparing, reviewing, and taking the American college entrance examination. Now that she got a high score on the SAT, Gu Ailing is one step closer to her favorite Stanford University.
Now Gu Ailing is training at the Saasfield Ski Resort in Switzerland. In the summer of this year, Gu Ailing conducted highly difficult technical training in the indoor sponge pool. After entering the snow season, Gu Ailing fully demonstrated the difficult movements learned in summer.
Recently, Gu Ailing completed a set of U-slot left and right somersaults, plus a twist for two and a half weeks-Cork9, connected to the air for two weeks, followed by an inverted skid for two weeks, and finally ended with a somersault and a reverse twist. It is understood that this is a set of extremely difficult movements for the world's women's U-shaped groove.
